The feeding behavior of male cattle under restricted grazing conditions in the dry season was evaluated. A total of 16 animals (commercial zebu breed) were eval uated, with an initial live weight of 320 ± 23 kg, grazing a total area of 25 ha. A completely randomized design was applied with the treatments: Treatment 1 (T1): diurnal grazing, 4 kg of star grass hay, corn flour (1 kg/animal/day) and vinasse (0.5 liter/animal/day); Treatment 2 (T2): daytime grazing, 4 kg dry matter of moringa silage, CT-169, sweet potato (Ipomoea batata), probiotic (Vitafert®) as an additive, vinasse (0.5 liter/animal/day) and corn flour (1 kg/animal/day). The following activities were analyzed: grazing, rumination and other activities. To evaluate the impact of the type of food on the response variables, a multiple linear regression analysis was used. It is concluded that supplementation with moringa silage, CT-169, sweet potato, and probiotics did not influence the feeding behavior of male cattle during the dry season under the analyzed conditions.
